When my beloved Bravia KDL-32S3000 succumbed to a power surge that unfortunately went looking for a replacement. The highly rated Samsung UN32EH5000 I bought soon returned to the store. I could have gotten used to what I consider to be too narrow a frame around the screen, but I could not tone down the bright colors and the metallic sound would have needed to buy additional speakers. Nor correctly automatically resize my computer input. To switch between the computer and the TV would have required constant readjustment of the display settings.
The Bravia KDL-32BX330 I bought to replace it had a decent picture and I liked his broad frame. Properly recognized my computer input. On the other hand, also had a metallic sound.
When I bought also more expensive Bravia KDL-32EX340 to compare with the BX330 I was very impressed. The EX340 allows you to control the intensity of the backlight - something the BX330 no. Comparing the two images using the same input Bravias, I found that the EX340 produces a more subtle shade of color in the faces of people. The BX330 oversaturated color in people's faces, and when I turned on the intensity of the background color was pale. Not only that, but the sound quality of the EX340 was really good with the bass boost enabled! I have no idea how a TV with rear speakers towards manages to produce a decent sound. (That said, with all these TVs I had to turn up the volume to near maximum.)
I'm not a big fan of the glossy black finish that most TVs seem to have today. And in dark scenes semigloss screens reflect light back of the room. That said, I can recommend the Bravia KDL-32EX340.
Just a note: as others have mentioned in reviews of various TV, you want to disable the power saving dim light and detect the TV. If you have the option of keeping the "store" setting that drives the display light: otherwise it will have to raise the maximum backlight.
