Mozilla has released the public a trial version of its future mobile operating system, called OS Firefox. Note that this is a very early version and it still has several errors, which obviously we report to be corrected by the development team. To test the new OS just need to install an extension to the Firefox browser on our computer or notebook , we can prove that is mobile operating system without having to install it on a smartphone .
This is a truly open system with which Mozilla plans to compete in emerging markets. Currently, the company is conducting research in Brazil for uses that gives middle-class people on their cell phones in order to adapt to Firefox OS needs these people.
Basic functions such as operating system calls, messaging and calendar are all based on HTML5. Firefox OS already has a few applications available that can be accessed through the trial, which also is expected to bring more developers to Project.
It is expected that the first smartphones with OS Firefox are launched next year.
