It seems that Microsoft is not the only company that believes that computers and laptops with touch screen is a very good idea. Apparently, Google thinks the same, and so is planning to launch a touch-screen laptop Chromebook before year-end, and it is likely to be sold under its own brand.
According to China Times reports, Google has already made a big order the Taiwanese manufacturer Compal, and it seems that the number of units responsible for around 20 million or so, which undoubtedly is a large number.
By incorporating the technology of a touch interface on a Chromebook, Google plans to do what Microsoft did with Windows 8: the benefits of a touch screen that has been integrated into a traditional laptop.
No one knows exactly what the operating system in question to use the equipment. Everything points to be Chrome OS, but also speaks it could have Android and Chrome OS at once and even an operating system that combines the two mentioned.
Something that so far we do not know is whether it will be a hybrid model as the Lenovo Yoga , but that certainly raise the price enough, and so far have proved Chromebooks cheap equipment.
