During the past weekend, Apple again broke its own sales record. This time, the new iPhone 5 has managed to reach the figure of 5 million units sold between Friday and Sunday, surpassing the 4 million units achieved the iPhone 4S.
The apple company said that demand for the iPhone 5 far exceeded expectations and is the only reason why sales were not higher, and when we say older, we talk even between 6 and 10 million. In the first 24 hours of sales totaled 2 million units. The numbers speak for themselves.
Apple also announced that the new iOS 6 is now present in over 100 million devices, which is also pretty impressive considering that the company has sold 400 million iOS devices worldwide.
Sure the numbers will continue to rise during the week.
