Today there are several operating systems phones to smartphones, of course there are a lot of sellers and a large number of developers who are responsible for creating applications and software for mobile devices. Obviously, not all smartphones and tablets coming out of a factory are perfect. On several occasions, T-Mobile has had returns of equipment because customers were not satisfied because the devices had some problems at the software level.
To detect these devices with problems quickly, T-Mobile has created Tappy, a robot used to test the software for the devices. Before they are released by T-Mobile, test Tappy handles all kinds of mobile phones and tablets to determine whether they fit or if they develop a fault.
Among the things that Tappy is in charge of testing the device keyboard, music players and video, web browsing and more. T-Mobile says that since he uses the robot device returns have been reduced by 75%.
To capture the problems, Tappy has a camera that records everything. To pass the test a phone should work perfectly for 24 hours and must not show the slightest of problems.
