Bad news for gamers. It seems that the next version of the software chart Microsoft , DirectX 11.1, will be exclusive to Windows 8. Thus, users of Windows 7 can not get their hands on the new DirectX, which has called enough attention because Microsoft does not usually as fast discontinue support given to the previous version of your OS.
The problem of DirectX is quite affecting the development of some video games for PC, and the industry had many concerns before the release of Windows 8. Those concerns are unfortunately not in vain, as Daniel Moth, a Microsoft developer, has confirmed that the DirectX version 11.1 will be available only in Windows 8, even though in theory could have worked flawlessly in Windows 7. Moth also mentioned that this is not a decision made by the Microsoft development team, but by the development team specializing in Windows.
Thus, many gamers who did not want to upgrade to Windows 8 now caught between a rock and a hard place.
What do you think about this?
