That someone is drunk in a crowd or in a public place is not a good idea. While not everyone gets violent to be drunk, there are some people who do and that does not suit anyone. But it is difficult to ascertain whether a person is intoxicated when in crowded places such as a train station.
To solve this problem, researchers at the University of Patras are working on a kind of software that can detect if a person is drunk or not by scanning the face. As appears the software uses two special variables that make highly accurate.
First, compruba the color of the skin of his face. When a person is drunk, your blood vessels dilate and this makes the notice of his face changed. Comparing the color of the point with the database, it can be determined whether the person is drunk.
Secondly, the temperature is measured using a thermal imaging face. The nose of a drunk person is usually warm and cold front.
Through these two variables, the software is able to locate people past a crowd of glasses. Researchers believe this new invention may be useful for the authorities to find when drunk in public places.
